Decompression Therapy

With the Doc Decompression Table

COMMON CONDITIONS TREATED:

  • Sciatica and leg numbness
  • Radiating arm pain and numbness (pinched nerve)
  • Interforaminal and spinal stenosis
  • Bulging, herniated or collapsed disc

Heal your disc pain and avoid surgery with non surgical decompression therapy. The Doc Decompression Table stretches and relaxes the spine intermittently in a controlled manner using a computer operated motorized table. This process creates a negative pressure in the disc which helps pull the herniated or bulging disc material back into the disc and promotes the passage of healing nutrients and water into the disc to fosters repair, restoration and regeneration of an impaired disc.

The goal of creating space between the individual spinal bones though the intermittent traction is to relieve spinal, leg, or arm pain related to a pinched nerve, disc injury or disc degeneration. The intermittent stretching of the spine and pumping of the disc helps to restore the dynamic mechanism of the injured disc and creates relevant pathways to actively heal the cells and surrounding tissues of the deteriorating discs. Restoring the disc’s natural pumping mechanism allows it to regenerate and self repair by supplying it with water and nutrients while also flushing out the cellular waste products. When a disc is traumatized it begins to degenerate by collapsing, tearing, bulging, and herniating causing stenosis and arthritis to develop and worsen with time if the disc’s self pumping mechanism is loss and not restored. The disc’s built in self pumping mechanism is vital to its health because there is no direct blood supply to the discs. The movement driven pumping mechanism of the Doc decompression table alternately compresses and then relaxes pressure in the disc allowing water and waste products out and water and nutrients in. The base inner turgor is maintained my hydrophilic proteins. Failure of the pump mechanism results in biochemical changes that dehydrate, deteriorate and thin the disc.
The failed pump mechanism of the disc needs to be corrected in order for the disc to regenerate, self repair and reduce the disc bulge, herniations and stenosis.

Spinal decompression is a unique, non invasive, and drug free approach to an effective and lasting solution for people with mild to serious disc problems because it directly addresses the underlying cause of sciatica, radiating arm pain, and bulging, herniated or degenerated disc. Choosing spinal decompression will be the first step of the journey to regaining the quality of life we all desire and rest assured that we are ready to help you get your life back. 20 sessions at twice a week is suggested for most disc conditions.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

  • Create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or repositioning of the herniated or bulging disc material.
  • Create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrient and other substances into the disc.
  • Restore the active pumping mechanism loss in the degenerative disc.
