Brain Core Neurofeedback

BRAIN CORE NEUROFEEDBACK HELPS WITH:

  • Achieving peak performance
  • ADD (ADHD)
  • Anxiety (Depression)
  • Autism Spectrum
  • Emotional Disturbances (Mood Disorder)
  • Insomnia (Sleep Disorders)
  • Impairments (Learning Disorders)
  • Memory Loss (Brain Fog)
  • Migraines (Headaches)
  • Poor executive function
  • PTSD

The application of non-invasive electrodes to the scalp and skin listen in on brainwave activity while a computer-based software program engages you through exercises to improve memory, increase the ability to learn, enhance creativity, and attain peak performance.

The Brain Core Neurofeedback System (called EEG Biofeedback) is a non-invasive state-of-the-art modality with the ability to map the brain and detect imbalanced, dysregulated electrical activity. During a neurofeedback session, we compare what your brain is actually doing (imbalanced pattern) with optimal performance (balanced pattern). A more balanced state is rewarded with a positive response visualized on the computer screen. The computer software gives the brain direct feedback, training it to improve functionality and efficiency to self-regulate and organize information. The sounds and images tell you immediately when our brain approaches a more efficient place and when not. Similarly to physical exercise developing strengthened muscles, the more your brain is exercised into reaching a more efficient position, the better it gets at learning any new skill.

This learning takes time and repetition and is a gradual learning process to create neuroplasticity, the ability of the brain to form and reorganize synaptic connections (where nerves endings meet and communicate), especially in response to learning, memory or recovering after an injury. Brain plasticity describes a lasting change to the brain throughout an individual’s life course. Synaptic plasticity describes the ability for synapses to change, strengthen or weaken over time in response to activity or inactivity. While inflammation, sleep deprivation, chronic stress, degeneration, aging, and injury inadvertently decline brain, synaptic, and neuroplasticity, the BrainCore technology can inversely put the brakes on these brain diminishing processes and improve its ability to self-regulate and improve memory, focus, sleep, cognitive function, emotional wellness, and executive function.

During the training session, individuals are connected to a computer using wires and sensors, thereby allowing the BrainCore technology to monitor the brainwave activity. The electrical impulses produced by the brain are named Delta, Theta, Alpha, and Beta and are called “Frequency Bands”. The software automatically detects areas of the brain that are disadvantaged with disorganized “Frequency Bands”. The technology then trains the brain to correct the disadvantaged pattern of “Frequency Bands” and restores a more “advantageous” pattern of “Frequency Bands.”The direct feedback in the form of a game, movie, or sound allows the patient to track their progress as the “Frequency Bands” become more balanced and organized. The patient’s own brainwaves control the game, movie or sound activity, and the observation of this dynamic helps the brain learn how to improve its own regulation. As the “Frequency Bands” become more self-regulated and balanced, the brain is able to improve its capacity to organize the input of daily information and improve memory, performance, and productivity. The Brain Core technology can help to maintain healthy brain function as people get older. Most brains, regardless of its level of function, can be improved and trained to function more efficiently.

Recommendation: 20-30 training sessions for best lasting results to improve brain power, memory, intelligence, and focus.
